They offer a nice selection of hearty local dishes, including steak, prime rib, pork chops, fried chicken, ribs, and seafood, along with a solid wine and cocktail menu. I ordered a sirloin steak, while my son chose the ribs. Each meal comes with a choice of soup or salad, baked potato, and delightful garlic bread. Our salads were fresh, and the dressings were excellent. My sirloin steak, which can sometimes be dry or tough, was cooked perfectly; it was tender, flavorful, and lean. My son's ribs also did not disappoint, featuring a rich au jus, and he claimed they were the best he had ever tasted—quite a statement given that we’ve tried many over the years. We arrived with moderate expectations considering the limited dining options in the area, but we left with one of the best culinary experiences we've had. The service was spot on—pleasant and attentive without being rushed or slow. Everything from the chilled salad plates to the hot entree dishes and crisp white tablecloths was just right. If you're looking for something special or romantic (which is what my wife enjoyed on a past visit), I highly recommend Carson Peak Inn.

We had dinner here for two consecutive nights during our quick weekend skiing trip. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a friendly hostess who also served us. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, perfect for a relaxing meal. The food was delicious, with delightful home-cooked flavors. The baby back ribs were especially fantastic! After waiting for a whole year to come here and eat enthusiastically. yes was so kidnapped with the food! ordered nativity and it was full of fat! I couldn't cut the meat with my knife! They put so much au ju on the plate everything was soggy and my baked kartoffel was hard and crisp. had to ask for 2 different baked carrots that were cooked properly! my waitress was kind of sarcastic about everything I complained about. I've been here for 11 years! my waitress didn't even ask if there was anything I could order from the menu until my party was finished. I told her it's too late now! definitiw will find somewhere else next year.

My wife and I have been visiting CPI for over 25 years. In that time we have experienced many ups and downs. It 's very difficult to maintain a consistent labor force in such a small and relatively isolated town. That being said,,, Thanks to the Management, Talent and Work Ethic of Angela in the dining room, our experience was simply excellent! We visited twice in four days, because it was so good. Our first visit, we ordered the Prime Rib and Trout, the second visit we went with the Filet and Fried Chicken. All four entrees were spot on, with a fresh loaded baked potato, soup and cold plate fresh, crisp salad. All Business ' Restaurants are a reflection of their management and the personalities, talents dedication of the frontline staff. Our experience was SO memorable due to Angela 's warm personality, attention to detail and her ability to multitask. Also, a big shoutout to her behind the scene 's staff as well! The Kitchen is Clickin!! Carson Peak Inn is a great choice for dinner while staying in June!

A quaint old world feeling dining establishment. Great cabin ambiance. Fairly good menu and wine list for a small out of the way resort. Highly recommended.
