Ahi poke was good, could use some soultang or crispy own tones above. katsu huhn was just a frozen brotpatty with a special sauce. good idea.
Extremely disappointed by the menu changes. that was my way to eat after 5 hours to juni for the last 5 years. I took my father here to find out that they stopped making their pigeon and chicken plate and switch over to vegan options, minus their tuna pack. I hope you'll reverse your changes.
Dont be fooled by the menu! They do not serve real meat other than tuna. The spam musabi isnt spam we were disappointed as the menu doesnt clarify that its not spam. Says spam musabi and you get a giant rice ball with a little piece of some veggie mash that they form in the shape of spam. I get it they went plant forward/vegan and thats fine but sad as this place was a staple after a long hike for their delicious pork that used to be on the menu. Also the menu is now just misleading, we would of never ordered spam musabi that wasnt spam had it said so on the menu. The lady taking our order also wouldnt touch our cash payment as she said money is disgusting. Had us put it in a bucket and take out change which wasnt exact.
First time here and was so excited to see the Ahi Poke Bowl on the menu. It did not disappoint! One of the best meals I 've gotten lately, food truck or otherwise. Service was excellent! They have a microphone for the person taking your order to use, so when they repeat your order and total back you it 's crystal clear. Also appreciated the staff talking through spice levels they made sure to communicate that the daily batch of spicy beef was pretty spicy, so I got mango salsa to pair with it. My husband got the spicy beef burrito, and although he is not vegetarian, he loved it! We were really disappointed to read negative reviews based on the apparent recent change to a more plant based menu. First of all, the menu isn 't vegan because ahi is an option for a handful of the dishes. Second, my husband didn 't know he wasn 't eating beef until we read reviews after eating. Highly recommend snagging some food along with a delicious beer at the brewery that shares the parking lot!
