Dragon Inn - Juneau

This restaurant holds a special place in my heart. COVID has been particularly harsh on certain businesses, especially those that primarily offer sit-down dining. This small family-owned establishment has contributed so much to our community that I will always remain fiercely loyal to them. I truly love their food, and I admire the dedication of their hardworking family and staff. Our town would face a significant loss if we were to lose the Dragon Inn Restaurant, and I will do everything I can to promote their fantastic cuisine.

I’m not sure how this restaurant is receiving 4 or 5 stars. I ordered chicken fried rice, Mongolian beef, and an egg roll for a total of $26.62. According to the menu, it should’ve only cost $21.50, but I always like to give a place a chance to impress me. Unfortunately, it didn’t wow me. The food tasted decent, but even for Alaska, it was lacking quite a bit.

I personally really love their Fresh Spring Rolls and Singapore Rice Noodles. I've included pictures of their menu as of March 2021. I typically order by phone and have it delivered. I finally went in, to grab my food and the Dragon Inn reminded me of Chinese food and decore from down in Seattle.

The food here is fantastic! Unlike the typical chain restaurants found all over Juneau that have different names but serve the same menu, this place offers truly delicious and unique dishes. Highly recommend!

I've never had a bad meal here. While it's not the most visually stunning place, the food more than makes up for it. Overall, I would describe it as a charming Chinese restaurant with a classic delivery menu. The Fried Banana Dessert is definitely a must-try; it was perfectly prepared when I had it and came with a delicious white sauce.
