The Southern Style Fried Chicken Taco was Delicious. The Mole Chicken Taco was pretty good. The Cheeseburger Taco, Blackened Fish, and Shrimp were just okay. Over all we were pretty happy and we will visit again. I'll try the Fajita Bowls next time.
My best friend and I are daily customers here. It is our favorite spot to go to when we are looking for good food nearby. The waiters are always friendly, and they get our food delivered in a timely manner. I highly recommend coming in on Tuesdays where they have a deal if you order the tacos (which I always get when I go). Not too many people know about the secret dessert- but we always get it it is so pretty and delicious.
This place was so disappointing. Drinks were good but miniature for sure. Tacos… wow… $5 for one bite of fish. There was no food in it. Brisket taco I was super excited for. Deep fried miniature and greasy. Not at all what I wanted. Vegetarian bowl cost twice as much as chipotle and actually not as good. Nachos half order, excellent taste and ingredients but $8 vegetarian another $4 for adding chicken and like 8 chips on a tiny tray. Maximum price minimum food. I literally rank this lower than Rocco’s and I’ve turned everyone I know away from that place. Never again for me here either. Wish I had pictures, but too upset to care and just paid begrudgingly and left.
The Copacabana Cuban place next door had music so loud, you could not hear yourself talk at Duke's. Waitress could not hear us. We could not hear each other. People were dancing and whooping it up... 10' away from our table. It was almost as if we were on Candid Camera. It was bad. So was much of the food. The Tuna Poke was so salty, it was literally inedible. The chicken mole bowl was not particularly flavorful though pretty and colorful. Burrito was meh. Tamale was dry. as. a. bone. They only sell wine in a can. For $16 nonetheless. They don't have unsweet iced tea. Whaaaat? They don't serve coffee. It's a cute enough place to go to for a light lunch or snacks at like 3pm; I wouldn't call it a RESTAURANT to go to for dinner. And DEFINITELY not with live, LOUD Latin music steps away. How is that even tolerated by Duke's management? Server was VERY personable and efficient enough. But far too many other Mexican ish choices around town to ever go back.
Seemed short staffed and we felt rushed. House Margarita was average. Had chips and queso also about average. Not bad but not great.
