Great little place! Cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of what you see in Japan. Friendly staff. I ordered takeout, because I was pressed for time, but would have been very comfortable dining in. Here's what I tried: Yakiniku cooked well, delicious sauce. I only regret not ordering some rice to eat it with, as yakiniku is a very rich tasting food, and steamed rice helps bring the flavor in a bit. Gyoza tasted very similar to any fried gyoza you would find in Japan. The seasonings, wrap, and frying were done almost to perfection. One of the best gyoza I've had outside of Japan. Ebi tempura very clean tasting, and cooked to a light golden brown. I prefer a different type of coating, but I can't put down their food because of my personal tastes. Most people would really enjoy this dish. Pork yakisoba again, very similar to what you would find in Japan. I ordered the sumo portion, and it was massive. A little heavy on some of the ingredients, ginger I believe, and for my tastes, could use a bit more cabbage. Overall a delicious dish. Overall, an enjoyable experience with delicious food. The only thing I was disappointed in, was that they didn't offer kimuchi. Probably not a popular dish in the Philippines, as most pinoy can't handle much spice, but it would have been a nice addition to an already good meal. If you want an affordable yet authentic Japanese cuisine, Kokoro is highly recommendable. It has the best tasting ramen. My favorite is the seafood ramen and Tantanmen. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₱1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
