The shop has a very local feeling, the food is absolutely delicious and tastes like its homemade.

Bamboo is the only Indonesian food cuisine in Alexandria. The owner is a very friendly Indonesian lady, she cooks the food on her own with a little help from an Egyptian assistant. The location is a little bit tricky to reach that’s why I added 2 pictures of the place from outside. The decorations are cozy and nice, you will feel like home. The food is nice, but sometimes it takes them too long. The prices are okay but the quantities aren’t that big. We ordered cream and lentil soap, they were okay, nothing special, I rate them 3/5. We also ordered grilled chicken with rice, it was nice, 4/5. I didn’t like the vegetables noodles. Spring rolls were tasty and not fatty. The thing I loved the most is the crepe, it was very tasty, 5/5. Overall the experience is 3,5/5. But it’s worth a try. So go try it and tell us what you think.

Indonesia cousin with friendly host

The place is nicely furnished, staff is very friendly, soup was very tasty, but to serve spaghetti as noodles ??? This was a terrible mistake.
