Koho's Grill - Kahului

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant where the host, server, and bartender all remembered me and my order after a few weeks of not visiting. I especially enjoyed my Lemon Caper fish entree! Highly recommend.

The experience was mediocre. The macaroni salad lacked flavor and the chicken sauce seemed to be hastily poured on at the end.

The Koho Benedict with crispy potatoes was cooked perfectly and topped with a warm, creamy Hollandaise sauce. The Crabcake Benedict was also delightful.

In front of a past has been here and seems as if the quality and taste of the food is gone. I only ordered a Teriyaki cheeseburger who came with a fritt. nothing special. my friend ordered a koks and when he was delivered, one could see through the glass that it was flat. had to wait to demand a new one, as our waitress was busy. later, she pointed out to us that they have changed it. service and eating were okay. I know my next visit to hawaii, I will not have this restaurant as a stop.

I give koho’s a 2, because this restaurant was slow down, I guess the pandemic threw people out here. Take away my favourite dish: fish and chips only limited availability on fri. sat. I also hear that the portions are smaller and the quality is gone. I guess this time I don't eat our waitress, which deserves a 6 for the run of the cash, which looks like a handsome. I ordered the ono plate. that consists of a filet grilled ono table on the shredded salat bed, 2 creative, 1 pot of stale macaroni salad, miraculously trying to dispense as tartaric acid sauce and a lemon wedge. the fish was a bit tasteless and a bit dry. wine sauce sweet and nothing but miraculous, the mac salat was stale as if sitting until midday. now advise you think mmm ono plate for 12 order a drop the lemon caper cream at least it is a lil worth her buck with veggies and a cream to go with the fish. we finished with a dessert to pass as Oreo sunshade better known as kilauea snowball. at least this time they had my lemonade. the only reason why we continue to to tolerate this place is where we go otherwise? that's maui.
