Zippy's Kahului

One of the Hawaiian restaurants! we visited maui, we stayed here on the way to the airport, and it was an oversharing contract for me. a classic diner setting, the mood is decorated with no-frills. our host jeff was very friendly and smooth brought us through the covid logs (temp vacc card check). I have the zip pac, which is a fried fish, fried chicken, spam and bark comb over rice. portioning are large! for everything! tasteful and was an interesting mix of different foods that they do not see, served together outside hawaii. does not appeal to all but I love something new.

I was surprised that was my first visit. I definitely liked how cool the restaurant was on the inside. they bring a pullover when they get cold. eating was not bad either. there is also a large selection.

Oh My Goodness this place is great, happy smiling people and food came out pretty quick. The food is Amazing!!! The fish was so fresh and fried to perfection. The chilli is the best I've ever had!(I gotta get the recipe) The chicken was crispy skinned and juicy. The teriyaki beef was sweet and tender. The spam was fried up just the way I like it, and the rice was cooked and seasoned up right. And for dessert the Chantilly cream puffs were so delicious I was bummed I didn't have room for 2. I will Definitely be coming back here!!! Thank you Zippy's!

OMG inly the best fried chicken I everrrrr had Crisy on tje outside and oh so juicy on the inside. It's a pity they don't habe locations here on the mainland. They surely would have lines down the street. Everything we bought tasted great and the orange bang wow oh wow we're surely missing out. A local secret and staple. Great first meal after arriving. There can be a bit of a wait so I'd recommend signing up for their online wait-list while driving around. Their Chicken Trio was delicious, especially the chicken katsu.
