Sunshine Vietnamese - Kaiapoi

I absolutely love Sunshine Restaurant! I highly recommend visiting this place. I came with my family for dinner, and they all enjoyed it. The food was fantastic, and the staff was wonderful. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was great!

This is a lovely smaller restaurant which is convenient with easy parking nearby. There is a good selection of dishes on the menu and the staff are very obliging. They have gluten free options on the menu and the options of regular sized mains or large so they cater for all appetites. I have gone there a lot of times and have never been disappointed with the quality of the meals. They also do takeaway meals which is great if you are in a hurry you can phone your order through. We have made group bookings for various occasions and our friends and family are always happy to eat there again. Prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of other restaurants.

I would not call this vietnamese. There were a few dishes that were vietnamese but the rest is Chinese i guess. They didnt even have the most common dish on the menu, grilled pork chops on rice. I ordered beef pho and my partner ordered lemon grass chicken on rice. The 2 dishes we had was way to salty. We had a few mouthful and couldnt eat anymore because of how salty it was. We pretty much had to have a full jug of water to take the horrible taste away. We didnt complain but left the 2 dishes on the table full so they could see it. We paid and left. Unless you really like salty food i would not reckoned dont come here. Overall the service was alright but the food was no good.
