Bean Me Up - Kaikoura District

One of the very few coffee places in NZ that have oat milk (normal are almond and soy, sometimes coconut). Staff are nice, they had no meat dishes whatsoever on display, just vegan and vegetarian. There is a guitar and a ukulele to use.

Dang good coffee and nice outdoor seating. We’ve had the scones a couple of times. They had a vegan chocolate orange cake hat we haven’t tried yet.

I’ve found Oat milk is rare in NZ coffee shops so extra stars just for that. Coffee is delicious, vegan sausage rolls are delicious and the staff are great.

This place has a fantastic atmosphere and decor that we really enjoyed! The coffee was excellent and very strong. I also loved the almond croissant I had. However, seating is limited indoors, and the restaurant only accepts cash. There’s plenty of parking available along the road or right outside in the open lot.

The food is excellent! The staff are incredibly friendly. I always enjoy visiting this restaurant.
