Feedback gevenThe mushroom pizza was so amazing! They use flour from Italy and wild mushrooms from Hawaii. Although it does not come with red sauce, I ordered some on the side to dip my crust and I felt like I was in Italy. But looking at Hawaii?! Heaven
We love to watch the sunset at this bar! Seating is first come first serve at the bar and patio, so if you can't get reservations at Beach Tree don't give up, just arrive early. The bartenders are attentive and make the best cocktails. You can even order from the full restaurant menu. I highly recommend the chips and salsa and truffle pasta. My husband said the fish tacos were the best he's found on the island.
The staff is outstanding and so is the food. We had our proposal and were offered complimentary sparkling wine to celebrate. They also brought out some bread and pesto while our entrees were being prepared. We ordered the Arrabbiata, Tuscan potato, Margherita pizza and Bon Bons. Arrabbiata with burrata cheese 5 Tuscan potato 5 Margherita pizza 4 (good but not extraordinary) Bon Bons 4 (good). The ambiance is also amazing.
If ambiance and beach front dining at sunset is just as important to you as the food (or more important) you will love this place. We came three times during our stay, the servers were friendly and warm. We didn’t feel at all rushed, we always had a great seat without having to wait. The first time there, we requested a drink served in a pineapple and they obliged, which was a fun twist. Drinks and food were about twice as much as we paid at other restaurants in Kona-Kailua, but the location and comfort was worth it to us. We really enjoyed the live soothing Hawaiian music, such a nice touch!
Beautiful spot!! Lunch was spot on top chef! Robert had Lobster in pasta, he took 1 bite and said he was in heaven, and a side of fries. I enjoyed Japanese beef (Wagyu) cooked to perfection. It came with island grown vegetables. I indulged in a $29.00 Oceans Martini with 2 olives. I love Oceans Vodka. The Meringue dessert was shockingly delicious because I never liked meringue but this one changed my mind forever!! Anniversary lunch so worth it!!
