Willie's Hot Chicken - Kailua-Kona

The chicken was super juicy and tasteful. the koleslawin was so good. portions were large. the ambiente loved to play a cool band and very fun for the whole family.

Great place for lunch or dinner. You stand in a fast moving line to order and then they bring it to your table. Very friendly staff. Good food. Very cool atmosphere. A fun place to eat.

This is the place for some great food and a great atmosphere, they often have live music for such a casual eating environment. We bring our dog every so often and are treated like family. The food in my opinion is some of the best on the island. Not many options but what they lack in quantity is made up in quality. My wife and I both get the tenders, Sweet Hawaiian, Classic, and Jamaican Jerk and swear by the sidewinder fries. The variety of sauces is also a must try.

Fried chicken ambiance Favorite for relaxing and spoiling with some fried foods some adult beverages. Dog friendly outdoor seating makes it even better. Live music on the weekends makes it even better! From tame spicy levels to white hot lava to southern tame spice level and loads of sauce side options, it's hard not to enjoy something if you like some fried chicken. Most say the best frozen Mai Tai's on the island! I suggest the refreshing Willie's Cucumber beverage, so nice! Gift cards at Costco make it even more affordable

My mom and I had amazing food over our four day trip in Kona and this stop for chicken may have been the best meal overall. Wow!
