Ordered the Maria special tacos, fish tacos and spicy pork burritos and they were all fresh, well seasoned, and tasty. The owner was really friendly and even took the time to have a quick chat with us despite being a one man band . Would highly recommend!

Maria Bonita's Lunchwagon has the most authentic and inexpensive Mexican food in Kailua. The fish taco and street carne asada taco plates with rice and beans are our absolute fave. Call and order about 15 to 20 minutes before you get there. Food is made to order and delicious! Take out and dinner only brah.

Food is still delicious, but the prices have gone up substantially! $20 for the Chimichanga plate last night! He explained that it is $4 extra for rice and beans. Used to be $13 for the plate. Then it went up to $16. Now it is $20.
