Captain Donut - Kaitaia

Amazing! Not too sure how long this place has been here for in Kaitaia but just happenned to stumble upon it and am glad we did! We were here in the morning and the donuts were still warm when we got them, not something you would get somewhere else! So as expected they were deliciously fresh and light and fluffy. I had the Cinnamon twist and my only regret was not buying more than one for myself! Seems like all the locals know the place too. Even just walking around with a plain white box I hear someone say, 'yum, Captain Donuts! '....

Just had my first Captain Donut experience and it was as good as the reviews had lead me to believe! I had an apple fritter delicious! I'd like to have been able to have had a fresh cream donut but I get that that's not practical (or safe) seeing as they're kept in a slightly heated cabinet that holds the prefect temperature for an absolutely fresh donut. These people really know what they're doing and friendly too!

Very good donuts. Got a mini collection and love them. Not to sweet like so many other shops and quality and variety is perfect. Highly recommend

Simply outstanding donuts. Very very fresh, nice variety of donuts and very friendly service. If you are in Kaitaia, I highly recommend stopping in buying a donut (or 4)!
