The Cape - Kakata

I really had a good time here, though I had some couple of challenges at the airport on arrival (I guess being my first), but thanks to the Hotel Pickup guy who stayed with me and supported during all the checks from LDEA. It was tough, but I felt relief as soon as I stepped into the hotel. The frontdesk was like here is room , just relax and take your time . I really felt they shared the stress I experienced from the airport. The ocean waves beating at the shore not too far, contributed to the rhythmic balance of a good night rest. Lovely food and nightlife. The hotel is meticulously kept clean, awash with beautiful paintings and that gave a sanctuary feel. I had one of the high moments with a good spoil from Ghassan Rasanmy (The General Manager)...it was good. You need to stay there to find out what it is Everyone is poised to ensure your good stay. The food is lovely and the combination of dishes will get you coming to the restaurant. On the last note, try out the Jumbo shrimp, mixed salad with garlic dressing and fried plantains (or other sides)... magnificent...recommended by restaurant waiter Mally. All the best in your onward travels.

Excellent menu and the buffet on Sunday was awesome.. also loved this appetizer of cheese and olives.

We stayed at the hotel so had the chance to enjoy this restaurant for 8 days. Food was delicious, well made and presented and kept us all healthy. The breakfast was amazing and again so many choices. Dinner was always yummy with a wide set of choices for even the pickiest of eaters. Plus the service and views are fantastic. The restaurant manager was always friendly and attentive as were all his team.

The Cape Hotel Restaurant run by Shad Greg the manager is a phenomenal place to eat and meet with friends and family! When you leave your room and walk to the restaurant you are greeted warmly by all the staff!! I came with my church family for a missions trip in March 2022. Everything on the menu was delicious. I recommend the Cassava Fish with vegetables! The fried rice is phenomenal and I would also recommend the chicken sandwich and lamb. It’s all very good. They are also incredibly accommodating depending on your food restrictions. Breakfast is equally delicious. Every pastry is cooked to perfection and the cappuccinos were my favorite!!!!!! You can order omelettes and they put any ingredient that you request. They also were very helpful when we would come late from missions and shad would keep the restaurant open a little longer. We felt like family!!! Shout out to the wonderful waiters Preston, Sillus, Monica, Mana, and Louis who responded quickly and speedily! Thank you for the incredible food, atmosphere and experience at The Cape Hotel!!

We ate out most of the time but did have dinner one day in the hotel. The food was very good and the portions were very large. If we had realised how large the portions were we would have ordered less.
