Macklin's Kitchen - Kalaheo

I got to taste their very generous box lunch. For $12 there's so much variety, your mouth will never get bored. Taste just like a home cooked filipino food. The people are also very nice!!

Tastes like I was at a local potluck. Filipino, Japanese, Chinese,American... Some items vary daily. Generous portions. I could not finish the 2 item plate (choice of 2 or 3 items). Take out only.

I appreciate any Restauant in Kalaheo. Service was great and so is the pricing. Deifinky will be back again for the plate lunch

I have been wanting to try Macklin's since they opened. I follow them on Instagram. And I have been drooling over their food. Until my husband went and grabbed us some dinner. I had a choice of teri chicken, stuffed eggplant, and noodles. My noodles was... the taste was there. But you know when you've left your noodles under the lamp too long it was very hard, hard to enjoy. But trust, I don't waste food, I ate around the hard ones. Then, the Teri Chicken I liked it. The stuffed eggplant was alittle too sweet for my liking. But it was still yums. I did take tinono from my husbands plate. It was good to me, but he's the true authentic tinono fan, that it didn't quench his taste buds. I would go again. Maybe during the day so that my food hasn't sat under the lamp again.
