Comensoli's - Kalamazoo

This restaurant is so hit or miss over the past 5 years. The four of us ordered all different items and mainly staples of the restaurant. The lasagna roll ups were dry and contained too much ricotta. The chicken parm lacked any real flavor and the chicken was dry. The exotic mushroom (which has always been a favorite of mine) tasted like pasta water with a dash of cream. The bread was so dry I didn't have enough water to choke it down. I'm sorry to say after coming to this restaurant for the past 20 years the food quality has gone downhill and I will not be back. It's time to check your recipes and make sure your chefs know what they are doing. If they know what they are doing, it's time to tweak those recipes.

My son brought his girlfriend for dinner before prom and they spent almost two hours at the restaurant, longer than they even spent at prom. Girlfriend is a picky eater but she loved her food and my son was happy as well. We don't go out to eat often, mainly due to cost however this is a family favorite where we go for special occasions. Thank you so much for your great food and service!

What a delightful surprise! A quaint, small sized Italian restaurant that served delicious food! I saw dinners being served all around that was mouth watering, bar none. Great service, great food and a very exceptional atmosphere that our party of four thoroughly enjoyed.

Love this place! The parking is behind the building. I am dairy free and I ordered the spaghetti without Parmesan cheese.The menu has many noodles that are gluten free. Great place to dine and delicious food!

This local gem didn't disappoint! The entire dining experience was amazing! The wine list is exceptional and well priced! Thanks to our gracious server, Lindsey! And the chef's creations were fantastic! Five stars!!!
