Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken - Kalamazoo

The restaurant was quite busy, but everything was well-managed. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the four-piece wing dinner, which came with potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, and a biscuit. The food was really good; however, I found the chicken batter a bit too salty for my taste, though I was still able to enjoy it without any issues. I recommend giving it a try!

I'm not sure if the fish with a tumor is a local celebrity or not, but I have to say, the chicken is fantastic!

Lee's offers deliciously seasoned chicken, while Popeye's doesn't quite match up. Lee's also serves better homemade biscuits, and their prices are significantly more affordable for families. In contrast, Popeye's prices seem to reflect a past time rather than the current economic situation, making them less accessible. Additionally, Lee's goes above and beyond to support our displaced citizens, showcasing their commitment to the community. In fairness, I haven't experienced this at the Riverview Popeye's location. Overall, Lee's simply stands out as the better choice for a comforting meal.

When it comes to roasted chicken and sweet tea, it won't be much better than that. This is Southern roasted chicken and sweet tea in its best up here in Michigan. I would definitely recommend. Very busy location.

The best Lee's hands down! I drive 50 minutes just for the chicken. But only this location! Always fresh! Greeted politely! In out! My kinda fast food!
