I applaud Qdoba 's effort to make up for the problem they caused, and have added stars accordingly. Here 's the original review: WHAT A FIASCO! It has taken me a week to calm down enough to even write a coherent review, I 'm so angry. Before you read the rest of the story, know that the district manager called my daughter two days after the wedding and offered her vouchers. This Qdoba location was booked to cater my daughter Ashley 's casual, intimate (35 people) wedding reception on Saturday, June 22. They were scheduled to arrive at 4:45 to set up the food. When they were nearly an hour late, Ashley began calling, only to be put on hold. After eleven minutes, during which time two others of us tried calling again and got a constant busy signal, we got through to the catering line, explained the situation, and were promptly PUT ON HOLD AGAIN! INDEFINITELY! In her wedding dress, and with her friend driving, Ashley left her own wedding reception to try fixing the situation. When she got there the man behind the counter was indifferent to the point of rudeness. After Ashley explained the situation (calmly by the way; she never lost her temper), he told her they had everything to make her order. She asked if they had ever started her order. He didn 't answer that question, stating again that they had everything to make your order. Ashley asked two more times, getting the same reply until the third time, when he finally admitted her order had never been started. Ashley told him to cancel the order, then she left. She didn 't even lose her temper then, despite never getting an apology, or even any empathy. Ashley then went to Little Caesar 's, the quickest solution under the circumstances, where they went out of their way to help. We were all looking forward to Qdoba as a perfect, casual wedding buffet, but it 's unlikely now that any of us will ever eat there again. Meanwhile, Little Caesar 's is getting the awesome review that Qdoba would have had if they hadn 't so royally messed up such an important day.
Service was nice but as i was eating i kept feeling crunchy things that would poke into the back of my throat then i found these chard pieces of something in my food wtf.
Went in and placed an order on February 1. I had two entrées. I had a steak quesadilla and a steak burrito. The lady in front of me ordered chicken and shrimp. Now my husband is allergic to shrimp when we got home we had the ladies burrito and I had my quesadilla. I've been trying to contact the store since 7 o'clock last night and they do not answer the phone. I told the guy that he gave me the wrong sandwich. He told me he didn't and when we got home sure enough had he eaten it he could've been seriously ill. I'm trying to get a hold of them with no luck. All I want is my money back and I will not visit this store. This is the second chance we gave them because the first time it was a mess and I won't be back to this one. We will we will go to the one on West Main before we come to Back to this location
Meh. That 's all I can muster. Time was when Qdoba tasted fresh, fresh, fresh, with all of the meat newly grilled and the service piping hot. There was nothing undercooked or lackluster in the veg and the salsas were on point, if timid. Now everything just has a slightly wilted taste, if you will. The queso is rarely anything but luke warm, the counters are often not cleaned off, the quacamole tepid and runny. Not the type of food to excite the soul. This time was particularly meh however, as honestly I had to throw all my chips away. They were hot? but had soaked up so much oil ...and the problem was the oil was 'off '. Old. Smelly. I swear they use vegetable oil and not corn oil too I mean, both are highly heat processed frankenfood and tremendously inflammatory, but with CORN chips, you ought to use CORN oil. And for 15 bucks I should get decent chips with my queso. I 'm really kind of off Qdoba anymore. Off to Chipotle I go, for a quick meal.
It's tough to give a negative review but sometimes you just have to call it out for what it is. I honestly think they have lost their way here and it's showing from the unclean bathroom to the unswept floor...especially behind the counter....gross! The staff is light, as one could imagine from the pandemic, but the pride in the remaining staff seems to be in play as well. I supoose they might be overworked, but no smiles or good to see you comments...just lackluster and put offish. I will say that the burrito bowl continues to have a good flavor, but is hastily prepared without any real enthusiasm, so at least I may come back as a last option.
