South China - Kalamazoo

TERRIBLE!! They have roaches , I seen the cooks not using gloves while touching the food . Service is terrible, very rude. I do not recommend this place. Very unprofessional and should be looked into.

Prices are fair and the staff were very kind. I came in and stayed for more than an hour to make sure I had enough battery power to last me my long trip and they were fine with it. One of the ladies working saw that I was gonna put my food in the trash area and she insisted on taking care of it.

I spent $50. on dinner. Chicken wasn't tender, but tough and chewy. Food was mediocre. The staff was unsociable. I only liked the egg rolls, and spring rolls. I won't be back.

We love coming to South china. Honestly, it's one of the only places that doesn't make my stomach upset after eating it. When we come in, we are always made to be welcome and almost as if we were family.I get the Generals Chicken, and as someone who doesn't like spicy all that much, it's the perfect amount. You can even get extra spicy (like my fiance). A spring roll, which is delightful. We've had the Lo Mein and the fried rice. Which again exceeds our expectations every visit with how much care is put into our dishes.Finally, I RECOMMEND the almond cookies. We always get a pack when we are there. They are always fresh and have a great amount of flavor. We almost buy a second so we don't run out!So, if you're in the mood for Chinese and looking for great food, this is sure to be one of your favorite take out places!
