Steak 'n Shake - Kalamazoo

I ordered a garlic double burger but received a single patty cheeseburger instead. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1.

I went through the drive-thru, and the food was excellent. The double steak cheeseburger and the butter burger were outstanding. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.

The food was decent but not particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the service was lacking, and the atmosphere felt somewhat uninspired. While the prices are reasonable, I would recommend exploring other options for a more enjoyable evening out.

I came I late night to get some food. First off I had to use 3 different touch screens to order. The first 2 froze and wouldn’t let me pay. Then I had to wait 20+ minutes for my food. They even apologized and said they gave me some cheese sauce for the inconvenience. I am lactose intolerant so it did nothing for me. I went home which is 10 minutes away and I realized one whole meal was missing. I also requested no cheese on my sandwiches and both of them had cheese on them. Apparently i requested no cheese on one of the burgers so the manager, Cory said he could only replace one. I explained ton him that I am severely lactose intolerant and he said that’s not his problem. Cory then proceeded to be very rude to me and I asked him nicely to please remake both sandwiches and he refused. I also asked for some fresh fries since I just drove 20 minutes round trip back to the restaurant. Not to mention Cory was very unpresentable. He had stains all over his shirt and he was using his bare hands no gloves. I will not be coming back to this steak n shake. I suggest new management who doesn’t mistreat customers. Dietary restrictions: I am lactose intolerant and they gave me cheese when I asked for no cheese.

The nicest people I've encountered at any restaurant establishment in years. So warm and welcoming! Their food was great and fresh too. 12/10 recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
