Located at the bottom of a hill on a street corner, you will discover this charming bakery. Despite its size, they serve piping hot, fresh meat pies and mouthwatering desserts. We tried the steak and kidney pie, mint steak pie, and custard, all of which were excellent. For dessert, we indulged in a jam and cream donut with fresh cream and delicious jam. Overall, it was a fantastic experience at a very reasonable price.
I recently visited another bakery in the area, but they were not open yet despite having their doors open and staff inside. Disappointed, I decided to check out Bakery 37 to see if they were open. As I looked at their opening hours, a friendly young lady noticed me and invited me inside even though some items were not yet on display. She went above and beyond to accommodate me, retrieving croissants with and without almonds from the back for me. This kind of exceptional customer service is what sets Bakery 37 apart. The croissants were delicious, especially the almond ones with just the right amount of custard. Bakery 37 will definitely be my go-to shop for baked goods in the Kalamunda area. They truly know how to impress their customers.
They have one of the best apprentice bakers in Washington (Rachel) who creates incredibly delicious treats. Their steak, cheese, and speckkuchen are superb, with large chunks of meat and diced speck. The baked goods are top-notch, with beautifully crafted sweets that include edible flower decorations. The staff is friendly and accommodating, located in the hills off Bakery 37.
