Golden India Restaurant - Kalgoorlie

Our only evening out while at Kalgoorlie for 10 days was here and it was a great choice. The lamb shanks were amongst the best we've ever had. The meat fell off the bone and they were cooked in a lightly spiced curry sauce. Delicious. Everything else was good too and the staff were very pleasant

Finding a place to eat in Kalgoorlie that serves good food and isn't a pub is a bit of a challenge. Golden India hits the spot with great food and helpful friendly staff. If you love Indian food your prayers are answered. From the moment you walk in the fragrance of what awaits greets you and what follows lives up to the expectations created. Enjoy!

We went there to get a take away meals..i was surprised they have lots of menus and their food was so yummy and the staffs are friendly ..definitely will be back again there.

Full blown banquet of delicious dishes to choose from, the chicken tikka I had was delicious and well prepared. The staff were kind enough to put our spare beers in the fridge while we are, good on them.

Stuck for somewhere to go and we stumbled upon this unassuming restaurant while looking for a bottle shop.We had the Kadai Chicken and Rogan Josh with a side of Jeera rice and a chef special of Jalapeño naan bread. We were not disappointed.... Great flavours and very good portion sizes meant we couldn't actually finish it all! Staff were happy to put it in a take away container and I finished it off in the hotel room for breakfast! BYO beer and wine and the bottle shop we were looking for us just around the corner, very handy...You will not be disappointed eating here but do have the Jalapeño naan bread, it's spectacular:-)
