Kitty's Kitchen - Kalibo (poblacion)

A pleasant find in Kalibo. Once inside, the chaos of Kalibo melts away. We chose the Family serving of ribs along with a salad. The meat was tender but lacked seasoning, but it was served with a generous basting of BBQ sauce. We enjoyed our meal and the overall experience enough that we'll go back to try other selections. AND! The chocolate cake was wonderful!

The get one star because of the staff, all floor staff and greeting staff with a mobile phone in the hand, siting on the couch looking like the not interested, I own 2 restaurants and the first thing we teach my staff is how to act in work place. It's not all bad, the food was good nice flavour. The staff is slow. It's a nice restaurant with potential, just need training the staff.if the take 35 minutes to serve some fries and 50 for a quesadigia I think that's what it suppose to be) and a mini chimichanga,and that is at 12:00 and we are the only table. So how long do you need to wait if it's busy??

They said their chocolate cake was their bestseller, yet when we got there, it wasn't available. Maybe it wasn't our lucky day. The service was spotty. Although the staff seemed earnest, it took several passes and confirmations to get our order right. But the other cakes were good and the place was cozy. If they improved service, it'd be a great place to frequent.

The prices are reasonable, and the callos is delicious. The chocolate cake isn't overly sweet, either!

While the ambiance was pleasant, the service left much to be desired. The staff was inattentive, requiring diners to frequently wave for their attention, even though they appeared to be more interested in chatting among themselves. In the service industry, it's often the small details that make a significant difference, and it was clear that the management at Kitty's Kitchen didn't prioritize leaving a good impression. Menu updates were hastily handwritten and taped up, the tissue holder had a worn-off logo, and there were stains on the white leather chairs. Furthermore, the restroom was not clean, and I noticed a broken doorknob. Most troubling was seeing a staff member preparing food with her bare hands in the restroom. I would recommend skipping this place and opting for Royal Suites, which is just a short walk away from Kitty's.
