Summit Barsana Resort Kalimpong

What a lovely stay with 5 families…this was a memorable stay and was a discovery for us in terms of location , comfort , view , customer service and ambience. In my view it’s one of the best maintained properties in the district . The GM Mr N Choudhary is a hands on person and I have seen him constantly ensuring guest comfort. I have also never seen such a dedicated team in a resort who work tirelessly and with a spontaneous smile on their face. Even when the buffet had almost ended I saw them filling it so that guests do not miss anything. Hospitality at its best and is world class. I would definitely come back here in a group of families and friends. Perfectly maintained property. All of us were overwhelmed by the warmth and dedication of the staff members and Nigel.

Class apart stay service experience. Just awesome. I had an corporate meeting event in March 2023, was served awesome. Unit manager Mr. Nygel, a nice personality whom we met is so nice person, he is simply one stop solution for all the requirements. He entire have taken care very nicely.

Room is great, very clean, staff is very polite and humble. But all these things kept aside… the food here is simply hands down amazing. The Chicken Thukpa here is one of the best I have ever tried. The best! The property is quaint and simple. The only con is that it’s a little hard to find at first. Especially during night, it is in crack of a road where you almost feel like it’s impossible to enter with your car. But the stay here was so good that it’s hard to remember that we couldn’t find the hotel at first.

A well-maintained property with nice view of the Kalimpong town, and a beautiful lawn (especially for kids). Staffs are very much polite and professional, checkin procedure is smooth. Rooms are well decorated with necessary requirements, and most importantly private balconies for each room. Price wise rooms are bit costly. Charge for children more than 5 yrs of age is taken during the booking. But the service and amenities somehow fills the cost. Food is a bit spicy, and much costly. The approach road to the property is sufficiently steep, so a car/cab is positively recommended if anyone is not interested in a hike every time. Hikers can very well enjoy the ascents, as we did. Overall the property can be recommended for a family stay.

I really liked the property. The stay was awesome. The view from room was eye soothing. Service was great. Everything that we wanted were provided to us. Food was mouth watering Since we were two we ordered two items which was full of taste. Room was spacious with relaxing chairs in balcony and study table in the room.
