Their Angus cheeseburger is not only good, but I would choose it over In-n-Out or any other fast food burger without a doubt. It's better than most cafe and deli burgers I've had. You'd probably have to go to a good burger joint to get a better burger, but then might lose on value. The wraps are excellent. The California wrap is great and still good value. I had the bibimbap, and the only problem was that it was difficult to eat I'm the carry-out tray with the plastic utensils. If I could take it home and put it in a bowl, it would rock. Someone wrote nonsense about the man at the register wearing gloves and cross contaminating...? Nonsense. He's fastidious about cleanliness and the food is fine. He's not the cook anyway...it's the lady there who does the cooking and handles the food. Fairly priced, well made, tasty, healthy options. Highly recommended.
Impeccable customer service!! Deliciously healthy options! Great prices! Cant wait to go again!
Afraid to eat here! The fellow at the register is wearing gloves while he cross contaminated everything! He is touching money, then food items as he bags them, then he throws something in the trash and touches the rim of the van! Then he goes to the refrigerated case and starts rearranging the canes drinks. He goes behind the front counter to where the food is being prepped..and all without changing his gloves!
Been going to this deli since I was in high school and they still haven't missed a beat. Great little gem. Best bites in the city.
This deli has been open for ever! Ever since there was like a traffic court open in the office buildings. Very nice family owned in the cut spot that makes everything! From teriyaki chicken bowls to a tuna melt. They're so kind here. Call in your order or walk over, now through remodeled orange gate and it's straight ahead, first floor; outdoor and indoor seating. You can buy snacks too like chips and candy, and a variety of canned and bottled non alcoholic beverages. The one other review about this place is accurate South Roberson Blvd only has so many decent places to eat, and that little area right before the freeway definitely doesn't have much else beyond those two gas stations. Give them a try; or, if you want another great family owned spot, try Rubio's off the Robertson Blvd exit (next door to Skin gentleman's club for American, Mexican and Central American food options.
