Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse Wine

Underwhelmed First We made a 4pm reservation and arrived 15 min early only to see that they did not open until 4 and the doors were locked. Why not make the first reservation at 4:15 so the guests do not have to wait outside? Next we ordered cocktails and did not get them until after the salad arrived Our waiter was too busy chatting with the bartender apparently since we were looking right at him. Most disappointing was the ribeye. I know that a ribeye has more marbling than other steaks but I also know the difference between marbling and fat. This steak had a lot of fat and was very chewy. Should have gone to Mortons or Capital Grille.

Food was great! Everyone in my party was satisfied. Ambience was to be expected. Service could have been better. Our server forgot that we were celebrating a birthday, which was noted on the reservation. Our server was completely clueless even after another server who stopped by and provided the full birthday service Card, Confetti, etc... We had to remind our server multiple times that we were celebrating a birthday and she still didn't do anything. It was a complete disappointment on the service side.

Even though we had a reservation we waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Granted they were busy with Mother's Day, the service was good. The food was not great, everything was super salty my husband's steak was undercooked raw in the center. They did take that off of our bill. Dessert drinks were tasty.

We had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Our napkins had dry food stains on them. They wait time to receive my drink was way too long. The food was delicious and our server was amazing.

I had not been back to Fleming's since I was a pescatarian many years ago where I could only have lobster/shrimp. Made a reservation and was promptly seated despite it being a busy night at LA Live. My wife and I both got the filet mignon with the added Diablo Shrimp on top. I'm usually hesitant to add things to steak, but this certainly elevated it. I asked for my steak well done (please don't judge me) and it was sooo juicy and flavorful and only very slightly pink in the middle. We also got mashed potatoes to share which were also goo. Drinks were tasty and not too sweet which I like. I'd definitely go back to try more of their steak items
