If your from ktown you know that spicy tofu scene is competitive. Hanshin pocha's tofu stew is fire-y and different from the tofu stews ive had. You can taste the spices and fire(if that makes sense? The seafood was fresh and doesnt overpower the tofu stew. Thankfully the soup wasnt cold either from the tofu(i had several places serve cold stew bc they just add cold tofu to the stew without cooking it together . The drinks are also really refereshing, i tried the mango flavor! I liked that they added decorations. Really enjoyed the new menu items, now imma hit up the gym next door haha.
Korean pub inspired by a real chef. Their menus are definitely better than most in Ktown. Parking is a bit pricy if you want to keep your keys $10). Only $5 if you valet. Overall food and service was good. It's on the 3rd floor of H-Mart mall on 6th and Kenmore.

Friendly service. The place was cozy and good place to hang out with friends. The food we ordered was snail with vegetables, noodle on the side. And it was okay.
This restaurant is in an interesting location. You need to enter the building with the Hmart grocery store, then go up 3 or 4 levels to find the entrance for Hanshin Pocha. I like how spacious this pocha is, it has plenty of seating without feeling cramped or super noisy. There's also a lovely view of the street and the Chapman plaza. To start, they gave us a very simple beansprout soup. We ordered the tomato sauce rolled omelette and the pork pancake with veggies. The tomato sauce rolled omelette has ground meat and cheese inside so the flavor profile really reminded me of an eggy lasagna with a very nice tomato/demi-glace sauce! It didn't feel super heavy due to the acidity of the sauce. The pork pancake had WAY more protein than we were expecting. There were also a lot of veggies and I especially liked the kick from the jalapeños in the pancake! Overall the pancake was tasty but too oily for me personally. It was my first time at Hanshin Pocha, and I'd definitely come back! They have a lot of other tasty looking entrees that I am interested in trying.
