They urgently need to be cleaned or replaced (see photos). Thankfully, the bed and the rest of the room were clean, and since we were exhausted, we chose to stay put instead of trekking back downstairs to request a new room. We decided to eat our dinner in bed, take a shower, and go to sleep. However, when we attempted to shower, we found there were no washcloths in the bathroom. I called guest services, and they promised to send some up. After waiting 15-20 minutes and still not receiving them, we ended up using hand towels instead. It took nearly an hour for the washcloths to finally arrive. In the morning, we used the shuttle to get to the airport with no wait at all. The driver was friendly and got us to our terminal promptly.
Our room was nice, but we experienced multiple issues with a clogged toilet. The bed was quite firm, which didn’t make for a comfortable night’s sleep. The breakfast (which was an additional cost) was good, and we appreciated that there was no wait for a table. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the lobby was a bit overwhelming, featuring multiple soundtracks—one with Ed Sheeran and Pink near the entrance, and piano music closer to the check-in desk—along with some overpowering scents that we found off-putting. Overall, I’m not sure our experience was worth the price we paid. If we needed to stay there again, we might consider it, but we’d likely explore other hotels first for a more reliable shuttle service.
Just a heads-up: when waiting for the airport hotel shuttle, we encountered one that didn’t pull over, so be sure to signal the white and purple Hyatt/Quik Park truck if you need it. Another shuttle arrived about 10-15 minutes later. As for walkability, this hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of several stores, including In-N-Out, Target, and Ralphs. It’s situated on a busy road, but we noticed several flight attendants walking in the area, which made it feel quite safe.
From the location point of view, if you need a hotel ? close to LAX, look no further. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the beds ? are comfortables, and I got 0 noise/slept super well. ? The breakfast ? was tasty even if $35 is a bit pricey for the selection/quality. Service-wise, the front desk are courteous enough but not above beyond , a bit abrupt. And the pool need a lot of TLC, it 's very old and has a weird ? color at the bottom ashes in the water ?.
I was profoundly disappointed with the overall cleanliness of this hotel. Dirt and grime were evident everywhere, and the sight of a broken ceiling was shocking. It's hard to believe that this establishment holds a four-star rating. As for the staff, their friendliness seemed to hinge entirely on whether a tip was provided. With tips, everyone was amicable; without them, the faces turned sour. This experience left me dissatisfied, and I must give this hotel a negative review.
