My son and I shared an albacore tuna melt and vegetable enchiladas Suizas. As someone who is not a fan of warm tuna unless it’s a tuna steak and vegetable enchiladas can always be questionable, I was sure I was going to be hungry later. Both of these dishes hit it out of the park. Tuna fish sandwich was not overwhelmed by the cheese nor was it fishy. And the bread that they paired it with was oddly crisp yet soft at the same time. My son, the food critic, told me all about how they cut up the squash blossoms and mixed in the summer squash with the salsa Verde – that it was amazingly tasty. He was right. About an hour up North, I realized I should have kept the leftovers as I was thinking about how good the enchiladas were. We also ordered the ginger thyme lemonade. Holy moly that was delicious. The lemonade wasn’t sweet and the ginger gave it a little kick. So good! The service was attentive and knowledgeable. The day we were there, it was an open air building. My only request was not being able to have time to buy bread to go. Put this restaurant on your list to go to on your way home to San Francisco. Parking: This is Venice. There was parking at that time on that day.
Aptly named, this place is superb. And it's near Superba and Lincoln on LA's west side.
I pass by this place on my way to Abbot Kinney almost every day and have wanted to try it. Had the grain bowl with tuna. It's wonderful. Highly recommended.
Breakfast burrito is Fire!!!! Always delicious, great flavor
Went during Dine LA and had a nice time. The appetizers were all 10/10, definitely get the deviled eggs even if you’re not usually a fan. Service was spotty and mains were all overly salted (but still delicious! . Desserts were both fine Kid-friendliness: Hidden kids menu. Mac and cheese very good
