This place is awesome! Delicious foods and amazing customer service. My wife and I shared the chick'n and gravy with the yams and garlic green beans, the jambalaya, chocolate chip cookies and a red velvet cupcake. All of it was exceptional. We also had this ginger lemonade that was ridiculous. We bought extra to take home! Vegan or not, give this place a try! You won't be disappointed.

All in all, the food is good, but if you're ordering take out, double check that you receive everything your complete order. On a recent visit, they gave my partner the wrong order (when there was only one other customer in the restaurant, so it wasn't crowded/busy)... and the food container wasn't closed properly, so it spilled everywhere. Still, mistakes happen, and if that had been it, I wouldn't feel the need to leave a review. Because of the mix up, we ended up having to wait twice as long for our food, and THEN discovered too late that they had messed up our orders again after assuring us they took care to get it right the second time. We were missing an entire entree (one entree came in two boxes, which is why we didn't notice)... and of the two entrees we did receive, they were both missing key items, and in boxes that weren't closed properly. Really, the only thing that saves this from a 1 Star review was the courtesy of the manager when I called to let him know what happened, and the quality of the food we did receive. But considering they got more things right than wrong on this order, that's something to be aware of.

So, this is a review of their customer service. As much as I would LOVE to actually review their food, I trust all the good reviews that it is awesome. But in this instance, I wanted to get a gift card for friends in the L.A. area . . . but I live in Northern CA. I messaged them via their website, and they responded quickly asking for my phone number. I gave it and almost immediately received a phone call. I provided the amount and my card info. In seconds I had a digital gift card emailed to me with the QR code that I could provide my friends. Now, when I fill out these Contact Us things online, I _never_ expect them to reach out to me so fast. Maybe a day, a week, or even never. I tell you, it was minutes. _That_ is customer service right there! Almost like me walking into the restaurant to buy it in person and getting it right there. If I am ever in the L.A. area, I hope to have the time to get my gay a there to try out their scrumptuous-looking food for myself. For now, I will live vicariously through others. But I just had to comment on their service to me, in this instance.
