Café Potamos - Kalyves

Guaranteed warm friendly service every time at this family run cafe bar. Over the past 25 years or so the imagination of owner Giorgos has lovingly transformed the area by his house into a delightfully chilled terrace with tables and chairs set under shady trees looking out over a riot of exotic flora to the river below. Giorgos deservedly takes a bit more of a back seat now leaving the hospitality in the more than capable hands of Aerino and Myron. Great spot for an ice cold beer, or a quality coffee or the best breakfast in Kalyves try the English and Cretan versions both excellent and generous in their own way as are the omelettes. Definitely a must visit when in Kalyves!!
