Normally, I'm not a fan of focaccia, but I got it for my partner. I couldn't resist and ended up eating almost half of it on the way home because it was so delicious. You can really taste the fresh, quality ingredients. The croissant was equally amazing. I only paid $14 for both, which I thought was a great deal considering the quality. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was. I will definitely seek out this vendor at the next market!
Yesterday, September 25, 2021, at the South Jordanian farmers' market, I purchased two varieties of bread that looked incredibly tempting (garlic, rosemary, red onion, strawberry/cranberry) along with an apple strudel. The total came to a shocking $25.00, and I expected them to taste as good as they looked. The strudel was exceptional, but the bread was a disappointment. My wife took one bite and that was it. While the toppings were beautiful and flavorful, they were overshadowed by the thick, poor-quality, dry bread underneath. I felt truly let down. I won't be going back!
I have tried... many paintings with folks, but all my experiences were very similar. I went today to the park city farmers market (9/22/2021) and the stand of the volker was prominent and decided to buy a brot. I spoke to one of the young behind the counter and decided to take the Jalapeno/Käsebrot. I bought it without looking at the bottom and Lo-and-beyond it was barely boiled and a very light brown, very drying. This is not the first time that happened to me at volker. they do not seem to know how to bake the floor/bow to make their brot crumbling and it always turns out to be barely cooked and teig. very inconspicuous, and I threw out all the broth. I am generous by giving volkers 1 star as I would have given them zero (0) stars if available. I do not recommend volkers brote definitiw and I propose to go to the market in park city and look at their red bike bakery brote.
They have the most delicious bakery, especially the apfelstrudel.
I have to say I am very disappointed . We bought a loaf of Jewish Rye for $10 at the Ogden Farmers Market just to get home and it was stale. We have purchased it the past (not paying that much and have always enjoyed it. Can’t say we will buy again
