Rivershore Golf Club - Kamloops

We went on a visit with our company colleagues and enjoyed wine and beer, not to mention the delicious appetizers.

Most people think the course and restaurant are private. Both are open to the public and the restaurant is open to neighbourhood residents who aren't even golfers!The food is very good, they have a good selection of draught beer and the view of the South Thompson and the course are spectacular, usually can see bald eagles or blue herons fishing.

Rivershore Golf Course never fails to provide a great golfing experience. Kerry and staff are super!

Before playing the golf course, we had a good hearty breakfast before our round. The restaurant opens at 9am which based on tee times should open earlier

We ate here at the recommendation of the South Thompson Inn next door where we were staying as we were looking for a hot breakfast option. They said they opened at 8:00am but we arrived near 8:30 and they still weren't open. The sign said they opened at 8:30 so we stuck around. The didn't actually open until 9:00am, which is 10:00am if you are from Alberta, which most people staying out there are. The breakfast was so so. The sausages seemed to be of the greasy, low quality type. The hashbrowns didn't appear to be homemade but the peppered bacon was very tasty and the eggs were cooked as requested. The French toast was OK. The view was great and it certainly wasn't very busy (we were the only ones in the restaurant). The waitress was very nice and friendly and the service was great.
