Shortly to the facts: weeks before, a table had reserved for two people, as it was clear to us that in the high season two days before New Year's Eve it is as good as impossible to get a table. When we arrived at the reserved time, we were ignored for ten minutes. When another couple came to the restaurant, they immediately (the last) were assigned two tables! And these guests said to the waiter, they called HEUTE and reserved! We're still standing and you're going to the phone twice. We were first ignored by further inquiries and then the same waiter said while passing: “I have no place for you now.” What we told him that we had already reserved weeks ago was his answer: “Yes, for today many have reserved”. Then he was again busy with the phone and other (probably more important) guests. He then came back and said, “So, I’m just going to sit here” and pointed to a table where a family already sat, which wasn’t really excited that now only two people should sit without asking them. Of course we didn't want to do this, because we had actually been looking forward to a cozy meal. Then we were clearly clarified that we had practically bad luck and then we left the restaurant disappointed. This is simply not possible and it is not our fault that the reservation system of this store does not work professionally or probably according to other rules. Therefore this was definitely the first and last visit of the bird!! If 0 or even minus stars were to be forgiven, I would do that!! We've been coming to Sylt for many years, but this has never happened here or elsewhere! It's not how to deal with guests! Ooh!
