The food is absolutely delicious, I tried the sprinkles, amok, red ants stir-fry, and the herbal curry and all were cooked perfectly. I will definitely eat here again every time I visit Cambodia.
This restaurant is a unique training ground for disadvantaged youth, offering innovative Cambodian dishes. Despite initial hesitations about trying the exotic dishes, such as tarantulas, the flavors were surprisingly delicious and worth ordering again. Other menu items were also tasty, especially the lime-black seed dish. The ambiance and service at the restaurant were also exceptional.
Outstanding! If you're looking to venture outside your culinary comfort zone with style, Romdeng is the place for you. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was both cozy and lively. We were seated by the pool, adding to the ambiance. For appetizers, we tried the fried tarantula with lime sauce. It may sound strange, but it was delicious - crispy with a light texture, and the lime sauce added a flavorful kick. Make sure to squeeze the lime over the tarantula before diving in. For my main course, I had the pork belly salad, which was fresh and flavorful with a crispy pork belly topping. Others in my group enjoyed vegetarian dishes like the mango avocado in banana leaf. I paired my meal with a local Angkor beer, but they also offer a variety of cocktails and wines. It was a delightful experience with delicious flavors and great company. I will definitely be back.
This place seems busy. reservation is required. we came here early and found somewhere to sit. the atmosphere is beautiful. we sit outside next to a flower tree. the fish amok is small and tastes regularly. fried garnel is delicious. mango and sticky rice is delicious and worth trying.
This was one of my best meals in Phnom Penh. Although it was the Burmese Chicken that I ordered, the flavor, texture, temperature, everything about the dish was delicious. Excellent service, quiet and calm ambiance next to a pool and the food was prepared by a student learning how to cook. Really impressive. If you're looking for a great meal in PP, this is a great option.
