Barrel House - Kane

This morning at 9:00 am, I was the first from a group of 20 to arrive at the Barrel House. By that time, there were already 6 to 8 tables occupied, including one table with around 10 people.

While en route from Niagara Falls to Maryland, I stopped for gas at Sheetz next door and noticed the vintage Texaco sign. I couldn't resist getting a double bacon burger, and let me tell you, it was fantastic!

I decided to visit this place based on the reviews, but I ended up feeling quite disappointed. The food and prices were decent, but not exceptional. The real issue was the service, which was terrible. After my food was delivered, my server didn't return to my table, even though I wanted to place additional orders. I had to try to get her attention to settle my bill. She dropped off the check and then disappeared again. Fortunately, I had enough cash to pay, so I could leave without having to wait any longer. I won't be returning.

The bar is beautiful, and the food is excellent with a wide variety of options. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the local area.
