When we arrived, there were already approximately 6 people waiting for their food. After placing our order, we sat down and observed the efficient staff multitasking. One man was frying fish and chips, grilling fish and burgers, taking new orders, and seamlessly switching between tasks like a conductor leading an orchestra. I was almost surprised at how quickly our order was ready! The fish and chips were delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place.
I had grilled Blue Grenadier, Scallops, Calamari rings, and chips at this restaurant. They were absolutely fantastic. The calamari was the real deal, not the processed kind. It was incredibly tender. The fish was grilled perfectly, not overly oily like some places. The Scallops were a generous size with just the right amount of batter.
Always good and I buy take away whenever in Bendigo which is usually monthly. Fish is cooked as you order, potato cakes and chips MADE ON THE PREMISES.
