Elvira's Cakes - Kansas City

We love the staff and the food. They are friendly and helpful. tres leche chocolate and obst birthday cakes are the best. my favorite wallpapers are the red pigs. then there are the panadería with many bakery decisions. we drive from blue springs and it is worth it.

Got a beautiful and delicious tres leches cake for my mothers birthday. I love that they’re readily available in so many options. We went with vanilla.

Elvira's Cakes is good for an inexperienced Mexican foodie, but from one that comes from a city where Mexican/Hispanic culture reigns it lacks. The food has good taste, especially their gorditas with rajas. The one thing I have noticed throughout Kansas City is that Tres Leches cake is everywhere and coming from Los Angeles Tres Leches is also in most Hispanic bakeries but is never the center of Hispanic pastry. For that part I give Elvira's a 3 out of 5 because they are just going with Kansas City flow and not true to Hispanics bakeries of having more variety.

Best place to buy tres leches cakes. Everything is always fresh. The food is really good too. Highly recommended.

Amazing cakes!! I've also tried their tamales and gorditas and they are soooo good!!!
