Food was great, only disappointment is they never brought around ribeye or filet, only sirloin. So kind of false advertising on that note, but all the other foods was excellent. Service on the other hand is severely lacking. First had a 715 reservation, didn't get a table till 8. So to me you should just get rid of their reservation system and go first come first serve and not mislead people. Second the front of house staff is way undertrained, I fully empathize how hard it is to currently staff, but a solution would be not to take on so many customers at once and limit seating. It took 45 minutes for me to get checked out because I had a gift card and I requested a manager 3 times and never received one just to clarify my gift card. I want to be clear I think the service staff does try very hard I just feel they are overwhelmed with that amount of volume and lack of knowledge. Overall I do give points for professionalism and job sincerity I just felt that the the restaurant volume exceeded the proper amount of staffing. It was a great experience to enjoy though. Thank you

Food was great, service was friendly but the only compounding I have is when they cut the claws the residue from being cut open with a saw is it leaves the saw dust inside and it was cooked into the food. Other than that, it was great!

We were there for the special Caipirinha Day. The drinks were excellent but the pub food was disappointing and stingy--hot hors d 'oeuvres were brought by only once, never to return despite asking for more multiple times. The service was deathly--my date I felt abandoned. To be fair, the staff acknowledged this and comped one of our drinks. We certainly did not have all we cared to eat and left hungry and a little angry. What should have been a fabulous night fell pretty flat. Fortunately, we enjoy downtown Kansas City and each other 's company and still managed to have a good time. We have enjoyed many lunches and dinners in the past at Fogo, but we will not attend any other special events.

Overall great experience from the hello to the goodbye. Food is amazing, service is superior! You won’t be disappointed.
