Go Chicken Go - Kansas City

I placed my order at 5:22 PM on January 1, 2024, totaling $48.05, and was instructed to pull forward and park for 7 minutes while waiting for chicken strips. After 10 minutes, I decided to go inside, only to find a woman assembling meals on the counter from about 10 boxes instead of bringing out the food that was supposedly ready. I mentioned that it seemed like she was making everyone's orders and left feeling quite dissatisfied. After another 10 minutes, my food finally arrived at 5:42 PM, but it included cold livers and everything else. The customer service was incredibly poor that evening; I wasn't even offered a complimentary water for the wait. When we received our so-called freshly cooked chicken strips, some looked fresh, while others looked stale (see photo). To make matters worse, there was a truck parked next to us containing customers who had been there the entire time we were in line and were still waiting for their order. They received their food at the same time we did, resulting in a 25-30 minute wait for them as well. They were also from Missouri, and after this experience, it will be a long time before I consider driving back to Kansas for Go Chicken Go.

This restaurant is an excellent choice for dining. The food is fresh and served hot, and the staff is very friendly.

Absolutely the Bomb! One of the best locations around! Food is fantastic, service is always courteous and quick, and though you might have to wait in line a little bit, just know there is a reason for that and it's totally worth it! Love this place! Especially that the chicken isn't from some hormone pumped animal and as far as I know is some of the best you can find!

The food was great and not griese and we think you get enough food for the money we did.

I really wish they had a location in Leavenworth since there are plenty of empty buildings available. Alternatively, I wish they offered DoorDash here since it's only 16 miles away.
