The food deserves two stars honestly. The temperature was ?warm?. The food was under seasoned in every way. The manager was accommodating in taking the entree off from our bill since I barely ate any. Loved the place, disappointed in the food for such high prices. I had beef short rib and fiancé had steak. Both lacked seasoning. Pictures look good though!
Most amazing meal and service. Our server knew just how to sell the food. I like my steak blue rare and I got it perfectly cook. The dessert he recommended was heavenly. By far the best of everything. And have to say the music was pleasant and unexpected. Gave the upbeat atmosphere. Cannot wait to go back and try something else. BTW, that asparagus was just one serving.
Food really tasted amazing. Some of the food like french onion soup and potato puree with greens wasn't very warm when received, maybe it's not supposed to be but still disappointing. Service was top knotch. Restaurant sat people right next to us when there was 4 open seats in a row, I wish they could have sat them down and left a table open between us for a better dining experience.
The staff and the service was great but I was so disappointed with the Wellington. We drove hours to get there and our bill was over $500 and for that I just expected the food to be amazing. We started with bread and butter that was good and then we did shrimp cocktail? this is not worth the price. We then had salads that were good and then onto the entree. I had the Wellington and it was not good at all. We had late reservations, so our food was actually served at 10:00pm so I?m not sure if it had just been sitting awhile but the outside of the steak had no sear and was gray. It was cold to the temperature and had zero season on the steak. It was just not a good cut and was not cooked well. Shared it on the table and everyone was disappointed in it and thought it was bad. We had other items and the other steaks were good, the filet was the best. We did appetizers as well they are large enough to share with the tale which justifies the price. The best thing we had was the bone marrow.. it?s worth the price! I wish we had a better experience and something to special as the Wellington for a Gordon Ramsay restaurant should have been the one to steal the show.
The service is great, the food is almost as good as the service.... almost. I am a big fan of onion soup, and this was superb. The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly, it was a little tough, but I ordered a lean cut and expected it, and that is how I like it. The risotto is worth going here just on it's own. The truffle oil fries are great, but wow, they bring enough out for two to feed a party of six. The Beef Wellington was basically a $60 steak hotpocket. The cheesecake was very bland. I had one bite and was convinced that there is a Sara Lee box in the kitchen. It's not bad. It just has less flavor than the box it came in. I do like that they post the prices on the online menu. It is very reasonable for a high end restaurant.
