Harpos Restaurant Bar - Kansas City

I've walked past this restaurant many times and finally decided to step inside. I'm really glad I did! The atmosphere was great, and there was a nice vibe overall. I didn't explore too much because I was in a certain mood, but I believe they might have an outdoor patio—though I can't be sure. What I do know is that they serve food late, and the service was excellent. I will definitely be coming back!

I stopped by for a quick lunch yesterday and found my ideal table right away. The waitress promptly brought me the menu and water. There were only three other customers in the restaurant at the time. I ordered the Classic burger and some tots, which came with plenty of drink refills. My burger was massive—there was more meat than bun! The portion of tots was so generous that I felt full even before trying them. The restaurant was really clean, and the tables were well spaced apart. Overall, a great dining experience!

That's when I encountered someone I'll call 'Super Jesus,' who kindly let me borrow his phone to call my own. At that moment, I realized that miracles do happen. I don't know if the person who helped me was a waitress, a bartender, or just a Good Samaritan with a pure heart, but someone—whose name remains a mystery—went out of their way to ensure my lost phone was returned safely to the bar. This act of kindness reignited my faith in karma and humanity. It reminded me of the goodness that exists in the world and the potential for us to be one—a cohesive society and a single human family. All it takes is one person making the right choice for someone else, selflessly and without expectation, simply because we share the light of existence in this universe. But maybe I'm just being idealistic? I encourage you to visit Harpo's and see for yourself. What do you think?

Cold rainy night, stopped in for a bite. Delicious Chili on the menu. Full Bar. Outdoor Courtyard is a party place in nice weather. Good service.

Nice bar. Good selection of drinks and nice staff. Nothing bad but nothing remarkable. Was a quiet spot to grab a few drinks with some friends while visiting KC from out of town
