Feedback gevenThey asserted that we didn’t have a reservation, despite showing the manager our email confirmation. They didn’t make any effort to rectify the mistake, leaving my wife, teenage children, and me to find another place to eat on such an important day. To make matters worse, before I spoke to the manager, the rude hostess claimed they don’t accept reservations through OpenTable! I had hoped the manager would take action to address the situation, but instead, she just sent us away. It was an extremely disappointing and humiliating experience, especially since we ended up having to take my family somewhere else on our annual special day.
I want to share a warning about my recent experience with OpenTable reservations at this restaurant. When we arrived, we were informed that they do not accept reservations made through OpenTable. There were several open tables, but they explained that they were short-staffed. The food was just mediocre, and the service took an eternity from the moment we sat down.
After placing our order, we had a simple question for our server regarding the sauce for the beef and broccoli dish, but she couldn’t provide a clear answer—she merely described it as "mild." One of our dishes was mistakenly placed on the table behind us, but they rejected it, and it went back to the warmer in our sight. We asked our server about the status of our meal, mentioning our time constraint, and she promised to check. Unfortunately, she only called over another server to inquire about our food; he cleaned a table and chatted with the host but never actually checked on our order. After about ten minutes, our meal finally arrived, although it had been sitting under the warmer, alongside another entrée. We inquired about our third dish and were told the fried rice was being prepared and would be out shortly. A few minutes later, we saw her holding the bowl of fried rice while engaging in conversation with another server, not realizing how long we had already been waiting. Once the food was finally served, we pointed out that the other two dishes were cold, the broccoli appeared almost frozen, one plate lacked sauce, and my freshly made fried rice was barely lukewarm. She mentioned that she would fetch the manager. However, after checking on another table, she started expressing her frustration about her day and her illness (with no mask) right in front of us. After about 5 to 10 minutes, the manager approached us, visibly stressed but trying to resolve the issue. She offered to take back our food, but we were pressed for time with our flight approaching. She assured us she would see what could be done and walked away, but unfortunately, she didn’t return until we asked again.
Manager and employees were very accommodating. the food was delicious!
We were lucky there were a couple seats open at the bar. I had placed my reservation through open table for 7:45 and when I arrived, I was told that they weren’t taking reservations from open table or their system wasn’t working properly at this time. Even though I got a confirmation from open table. It Other than that the food was good and staff was good.
