Spin Pizza Crown Center - Kansas City

Surprisingly, in 2022 it is still hard to find a pizza place that serves vegan cheese. I was on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan cheese option at this restaurant in Kansas City. The pizza was delicious, with a caramelized crust and baby spinach topping.

I ordered the Mini Mia pepperoni pizza with a chicken Caesar salad and I thought it was delicious. The only thing I would suggest is for the pizza crust to be crisper, but I would still order it again. The restaurant was very busy on a Friday night during the holidays, but the wait was not too long. The atmosphere at Crown Center was cool.

50/50 experience. My kids and mom really enjoyed their pizza and Gelato. I have a gluten allergy and came because the website mentioned gluten free options. The staff were kind but not well educated on gluten allergies as they said the common pizza oven would cook off any gluten my pizza might incur. So while this might be fine for gluten intolerance or those avoiding gluten for other reasons it is definitely not celiac safe.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. We received complimentary gelato with tokens from our previous visit, and the server smartly inquired about who should receive each size. He gave my older child a regular size, my toddler a medium size, and, after I mentioned I was already full, he gave me a large size. Our waitress was delightful and very efficient. The food was excellent!

This restaurant is amazing! It offers excellent value for the quality of the food, taste, atmosphere, and service. I tried the lunch deal (Mini Mia) which allows you to choose between a pizza, salad, or soup. They were very accommodating and allowed me to customize my pizza according to my preferences. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place. They even have a special promotion where kids eat free on certain days of the week!
