Sunny China - Kansas City

I agree with most of the reviews about Sunny China. If you're in the Turner/South KC area and looking for good, affordable food, you should definitely check out this restaurant. I've been eating here since it opened and it's one of the few places where I've never been disappointed. The food is delicious, well-priced, and the portions are huge. My wife and I usually share the lunch combo plates and still have leftovers. Everything on the menu is fantastic, especially the crab rangoon, which I think is the best in the city. The staff is quick and efficient, not overly friendly but never rude. Overall, Sunny China is a great place for quick, tasty, and budget-friendly meals. I highly recommend it.

I have been going to this restaurant with my parents when I was a kid. I got an order today after almost 8 years and the food still smell and tastes amazing. Which says lot with our food nowadays.the restaurant gives low key and homie feeling. I thank you for my dinner tonight.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, served quickly and hot, and at a good price. The business is also kept clean.

I have been coming to this restaurant for more than 20 years. The service is quick and the food is delicious. Whenever I was sick as a child, my mother would always get me food from Sunny China and I would feel better the next day. Their dishes are the ultimate comfort food. However, I do miss their lemon chicken dish, which they no longer seem to have on the menu.

The Four Seasons ordered. The chunks of meat were twice the usual size and extremely tough, with gristle.
