Sushi Haru - Kansas City

Despite being short-staffed tonight, our experience was excellent. The team did a fantastic job looking after our table. It wasn't an easy night for them, yet they handled it beautifully. Food: 5/5

I have to say, I’ve never had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed, and the food is easy on the stomach. Definitely make sure to order the egg rolls! (They come with three, but I couldn't resist and devoured one as soon as it arrived.) Everything here is simply perfection! Food rating: 5/5.

First of all, the waitress was lovely. She was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, they didn't have two different types of sake that I wanted from the menu. The waitress suggested another option that she wasn’t familiar with, which the manager had recommended, but it turned out it wasn’t on the menu either. I also ordered a few appetizers that I typically find at other sushi restaurants in Texas, but they didn’t have those either, and they didn’t seem to know what I was talking about. Overall, it wasn't bad for sushi in Kansas, but maybe my expectations were too high since I've had sushi at many places both in the US and internationally.

Wonderful rolls!! Got the lunch special for $13.95 and was able to get 3 nice size rolls to fill me up. The bagel roll was really delicious! It was salmon and cream cheese with a nice crispy deep fried tempura. My wife got the Rincon roll and she loved it also. Our house salads were a nice additional touch to the meal and the ginger dressing was on point. Great music to vibe with, friendly staff and overall knowledgeable about the menu. I would definitely return back for more. ?????
