The American Reserve Grille

The restaurant was quiet. only maybe one or two other tables. Although many rooms, we sat next to the cabinet that held the glasses, cutlery and serviettes, making it more difficult to hear when the server put the glasses together to reset a table. waitress who welcomed us and got our drinks never came back. we asked the bartender if someone could take our order and he came by and did it. the service was still slow, but they were responding when they were asked. Since it took longer and longer until the bartender returned our credit card and the reception, we went back to a co-worker to remind them of our. the waiter came out and said he had lost the credit card and suspected he was pushed out of the holder when he picked it up. we have all looked around the restaurant for the map. Finally we found it, among another table. he gave us 20% of the meal. a manager has never addressed the situation or apologized. it was just a bit of an unpleasant experience. I saw a little confused and maybe just not a good day for them or badly managed- hard to say as I have never been before. I will say that eating was very good and the prices are affordable.

The food was excellent and the service top notch. I will be back in any case!

The restaurant during the business trip. order for suppe and salat got “lost” and lasted about 45 minutes. kc steak suppe was fantastic, but salat was so.

Absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious, the service was top notch. It’s a very quaint upscale restaurant. My husband and I shared the special, which was an 18 oz. bone in ribeye (the presentation was beautiful). I highly suggest the Winter Mule!

I actually loved the restaurant but the start was pretty rough. No one was at the front to seat us, so eventually after waiting around the bartender came from around the bar and sat us himself. 20 minutes past before I finally got up and walked over to the bar and asked if he could at least take our drink orders and find the waitress again. Five minutes pass again and he lets us know that she’s left and began taking our orders himself, although she never actually left. The food and Ishmael the bartender saved the day, because the waitress was horrible sadly. And with there only being one other couple seated in the dining area, there was no excuse.
