Wasahi Japanese Steak House And Sushi

The service at this restaurant was outstanding. Our server was incredibly attentive, providing training chopsticks for the kids and offering a pitcher for refills on root beer. The food was delicious, and the chef was very mindful of food allergies. This is a fantastic spot for special celebrations. When it comes to sushi, we highly recommend trying the 816 roll and the Florida roll.

Great value for excellent food! I've visited this place twice now, and it's quickly become my new favorite in the Kansas City area. I highly recommend it. I've added some photos to show what I've enjoyed. I come here so often now—definitely worth a visit!

I didn't have a hibachi experience, my plates were all served very quickly and I had lovely interactions with both the chef and the hostess. Comforting food and ambiance, and the rice was perfectly warm.

UPDATE: Had a new roll, The Last Samuari and it was really good! Love coming here and was fun on Saturday night because hibachi was extremely busy and the sights are great! We've been coming here for years and love their spicy crab salad as well as the 816 and margarita rolls!
