West Bottoms Kitchen - Kansas City

This place is incredible for little coin. The service is top notch but where they shine is the menu. The small, eclectic menu is all wonderful. Everything is delicious. Also, $5 sangria... Yes please. If you're thinking about heading here, just go. It's always going to be worth it.

Fantastic!! Wife and I split the BL(fg)T and the chicken sandwich and both were amazingly delicious as were the side salads we had with them. My flavored teas were great as well. For the size and quality of the food, their pricing is a deal. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely revisit here again.

What a great meal! If you want great southern comfort food this place is for you. I had the Louisiana catfish on a bed of corn chowder with a sliced tomato salad. It was cooked perfectly with just amount of spice. My spouse had the gumbo and loved it. Nice to go to a place with great food and good service! Will definitely be going back.

Really great food. The Blackened meatloaf sandwich was very tasty. The grilled ham and cheese was a nice surprise with pimento cheese. The staff was friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back and try the Friday dinner.

I debate writing reviews when my sole experience occurs during Restaurant Week. However, I have no hesitation awarding West Bottoms Kitchen a 5 star review based upon my RW visit. It was phenomenal. My lunch partner and I arrived without a reservation (my bad! but the host worked hard to fit in our party of two ASAP. After a short wait, we were seated and quickly examined the menu. We decided to share entrees so we could try multiple dishes, which was a smart move.
